Individual Counselling

Individual counselling can help to address emotional, relational, behavioural, spiritual, social and psychological needs of the individual in order to address presenting problems in a complete and holistic way.

Through individual therapy, clients can explore their thoughts, feelings, and behaviours, and work towards self-awareness, personal growth and self-improvement. During individual therapy sessions, clients develop self-awareness, learn coping skills and strategies to manage their emotions, understand how to make meaningful changes to their lives, improve communication, and build healthier relationships.

Counselling sessions are tailored to the specific needs and goals of each client, and the therapist works collaboratively with the client to create a treatment plan that is personalized to their unique circumstances. Overall, individual therapy provides clients with a safe and supportive space to work through their challenges and achieve their goals for improved mental health and well-being.

Couples Counselling

Couples therapy, also known as marriage counselling or couples counselling, focuses on improving communication and resolving conflicts between romantic partners. The therapist works with the couple to identify patterns of behaviour that may be contributing to the relationship's difficulties and helps them develop new strategies to enhance intimacy, rebuild trust, and overcome challenges.

Couples therapy can benefit couples in various stages of their relationship, from premarital counselling to couples in crisis. Through therapy sessions, couples can learn to better understand each other's needs and communication styles and develop tools to navigate conflicts effectively.

The therapist provides a neutral and safe environment where the couple can express themselves openly without fear of judgment. Ultimately, couples therapy can help couples improve their relationship satisfaction and build a stronger, healthier partnership.

Kaleigh works with couples experiencing the following: high conflict, communication problems, unresolved past issues, unsolvable problems, overcoming trauma, infidelity, differences in values, unmet emotional needs, lack of intimacy and distance, and co-dependency.

Meet and Greet

A counselling meet and greet is an initial consultation between a potential client and a therapist, and is an opportunity for the client to learn more about the therapist's qualifications, experience, and therapeutic approach. The meet and greet is a chance for both the client and therapist to ask questions and talk to determine if they are a good fit for each other and if the therapist's approach aligns with the client's needs and goals.

A meet and greet is not essential in the therapeutic process, but can help set the foundation for a collaborative and effective therapeutic relationship.
